Coral Gables: Where Quality of Life Counts

Preview "Young Gables", a new show dedicated to Coral Gables parents guiding children through all stages of a child's life. In the first show, host Jackie Diaz interviews a Coral Gables dietitian about how to provide a proper diet for young children. Learn also how prenatal yoga, offered right here in Coral Gables, can help you become one with your baby.

In preparation for the beginning of the 2006-2007 fiscal year, the City of Coral Gables has prepared a budget and established a set of goals to be carried out throughout the year. So residents and businesses in the City Beautiful can clearly understand what to expect from their City Government, the Coral Gables Television staff has produced a 10 minute Annual Report video which explains the goals and outlines last year’s major accomplishments. The Annual Report video was unveiled to City Commissioners, Department Directors and residents at the September 12th Budget Hearing.

Coral Gables Television strives to showcase their sister city relationships between Aix-en-Provence, France; Cartagena, Colombia; Granada, Spain; La Antigua, Guatemala; Province of Pisa, Italy; and Quito, Ecuador through international programming.

Each month the City of Coral Gables chooses an employee from a list of peer-nominated candidates to showcase their excellent performance. Coral Gables Television assists in the honoring process by creating a short documentary highlighting the successes of the Employee of the Month. This program is aired on Coral Gables Television to show the community the important contributions of the honored employee.

To keep pace with the changing needs of a diverse community, Coral Gables Television offers special programming for different seasons and occasions. Such programming fulfills the goal of the Cable station to inform the local residents of pertinent issues and events.
